Feet

If the human body was supposed to be the result of intelligent design the foot missed by a mile.

You don’t have to be a podiatrist to realize there is nothing intelligent about the design of the feet. They have way too many bones. The structure is obviously the result of evolution from the time when the feet worked like hands to grasp tree limbs leaving us with malformed fingers which we call toes. Our present feet are a common cause of pain and discomfort. Intelligent design would have given us feet more human footlike an ostrich.

Unlike human feet, gorillas (and other primates) have an opposable toe allowing them to grasp items with their feet. gorilla footPrimates have fingernails and toenails rather than claws. They are used for opening, scraping, cleaning, and scratching.Image from SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment

The ostrich foot has only two toes. They enable the ostrich to run up to 40 miles per hour. The ostrich commonly weighs over 300 pounds.  Their feet are very practical.
